Like you, I think it's smart to remain skeptical until proven otherwise and I'm going to presume it's not her until she proves it is. I can understand the conditional "If it's you, you're hot" kind of posts, but I'd be very careful about putting oneself out there too much or making any private deals. If it's really her, it's in her best interest to prove it and she has the means to do so easily.
Having said that, I'm being a bit nit-picky here just because I'm in the mood to chat, but I don't necessarily think either example you gave automatically refutes *Kris*'s claim to be who she say she is. First, you're presuming she has the business acumen that you do and that she directly profits from membership. She might have been paid for each shoot and doesn't care or doesn't see the long-term impact of file-sharing on the site. It may be more about fun and the experience than the money. And, once "fired", the support here would be appreciated. Also, people often refer to themselves using the singular pronoun in similar situations... For example, if someone attributes something to me publicly not knowing I'm in earshot ("Lazarus is into gay porn"), I might announce my presence by saying "Oh no *he* isn't". It could also be that someone else, a friend/boyfriend for example, is sharing the account with her.
My gut isn't raising any flags just yet. My lower "brain" would like to believe it. But, my upper brain is still in charge and presuming guilty until proven innocent.

I agree and would add that obviously "Kris Karson" isn't her real name, and she might consider it a persona of sorts. Her real name might be Christine or Jennifer or Emily for all we know; she goes by Audie Dallas on her model mayhem page. So it's not that weird she might write "Kris won't be shooting anymore" as a way of meaning "I won't be shooting anymore sets as Kris Karson anymore. She's done."
And yea, it seems likely she would get paid per shoot or in some other way that didn't include a cut or share of the subscription revenue. If she was in a situation where she earned more money for more member subscriptions, seems like there would have been more motivation on her part to be more involved with the growth of the site. The dwindling number of votes/comments on her sets over the months suggest that the site couldn't have been a huge cash cow, even if it was still profitable, which may have been why she was "fired" so readily.
I guess there's no harm in wanting to believe she'd come here to let some fans know more of what really happened. I don't feel gullible thinking it could be her, because I have a sense of healthy skepticism. But haha, who's gonna doubt a face like this?!?!

If Kris has decided to leave modeling to further her education that's great and good for her. A tough decision to make, with her assets she really is sitting on a gold mine. If It's true as mentioned here that the modeling industry without great planning is not lucrative enough for even a gorgeous girl like Kris Karson. KK who has possibly the hottest ass i have ever seen and a really beautiful face. It's at least the hottest ass this side of the Atlantic ocean. Tatyana Georgieva is about even with Kris Karson for the entire world Greatest Ass Title.

I don't know if that's the real Kris Karson, but I'd like to suggest that she could go model for Jimmy Stephans if she's not still under some kind of contract. I've only heard good things from Charlotte Alondra about how Jimmy treats his models. That's not to say Kris' former photographer did anything wrong. We don't know what happened.

Here is Jimmy's full explanation that he posted to Charlotte's site today.
TLDR: Model doesn't understand basic business finance, what a shocker.
April 21st
The website will be closing May 10th, 2015.
The last updates are April 21st, April 28th and May 5th.
There will not be any additional webcam chats or videos from webcam chats.
The details are very basic: The partnership agreement between the company and the model was to evenly split profits each month, with my little company sending her share by direct deposit on the 10th of the next month. The start-up costs for the site totaled $3980.00 and had all been paid upfront.
The site opened March 17th. The end of that first sales / accounting month would have been March 31st. In that two week period the total site income was $1898.65 (gross income, not profit).
Just prior to April 10th I had advanced her $2000.00. On the 10th I did not send any additional funds because that $2000.00 is way above a 50% share of any March profit number. She expressed concern by text message that even with the advance money I had sent, without even more being sent on the 10th, she wasn't making enough.
I did my best to explain the economics behind the site by creating a long webpage with details, screen captures of sales reports, and more. I did it by webpage because TEXT is too silly for important business and can't show images large enough to read details (accounting numbers). Phone calls also can't show images such as those. I didn't get a reply - except a 1:23am text saying a reply would come soon. I waited another 36 hours but it became apparent to me that the distance between what the site would make in profit to be split, and what was expected / needed in monthly payments, wasn't going to happen any time in the first few months - if at all.
And, that would mean the money discussions, the late night text messages, and the misunderstandings would very likely continue ad infinitum. Thats something I'm not interested in at all.
With me expected to continue advancing more and more money against future profits, and me expected to invest again this coming week to fly her to town for new shoots, it became obvious the site wouldn't be able to produce the income required to meets her monthly needs, pay off the original investment, catch up on all the advance payments, and produce positive revenue for the business.
It would be an unsustanable business model, with the advance payments totaling 4.5 times what the profit share should have been, so best to get out of the mess now.
Its basic business math. The numbers just don't add up. If the production expenses, and what the model expects to be paid (advances against future profits and crrent profits), total two to three times as much monthly as the site itself produces in net income, its not a good investment. Its a money losing situation and best to cut off sooner rather than later to minimize the loses.
The entire process of solo model websites, how many are dying, how expensive they are to start, what many models have as instant expectations, is an interesting topic and I'll be writing more on it over the next week or two at my blog. I'll send email when thats done.
For now, please compare the closing date and last update date shown above with your current subscription and cancel your automatic rebilling on the best date that fits your needs.

I assume that's a joke, which it is funny. But just to clarify for others and to be fair, don't most of these models have regular jobs that they work? They usually only fly in for a day or two to do at least a couple months of updates and then fly back when needed for another shoot. Any competent website should have sets stocked up ready to update. At least that's how the site's I've followed work. I mean look at Amanda Verona. She has like 2 months worth of updates at least where she looks the same and then all of a sudden you can tell when they've flown her back for a new shoot because she always has a new tattoo. But I digress. Charlotte probably made that $2000 for a weekend of shoots and that's it. If she wants more money, she's free to work whatever job she wants all the other days.$2000 a month isn't much to live on. Sounds like she needs to open a second site
But that was an interesting read. I had no idea it cost that much to start up a solo site. It makes me wonder how much Kris Karson's site was making and others like Sheri Belle, etc. And now the Teen Starlet guys just opened 2 more so they must be making money. I wish there was a statement like Jimmy's though about the closing of Kris's site. That, I would very much like to read.
