After some trial and error with different capture progs I've found one called Camtasia that does exactly what I need, and reliably.

I really wanted to use Replay Media Catcher, as simply being able to save the streaming video seems way better than using a screen capture method and having to re-encode the resulting video file. But I was unable to install any version of it; always getting an error about not being able to install a required driver during installation. And I couldn't find a working solution for that anywhere on their site, or elsewhere. Oh well.

RMC stops sometimes while the vid is streaming. It there a way to improve this? Not just when the stream slows down. Its playing fine, then the little bell goes off saying it stopped. Maybe a plugin would make it more reliable? Any advice?
