Can anyone give me a heads up on how to use rtmpdump to record streams. I think I have figured out how to get the stream url and the playpath, but the command line I am using doesn't seem to work. I have been trying to use rtmpdump -v -r "streamurl" -y "playpath" -o "recording.flv" but I keep getting an error message. Any help would be appreciated. I am not a very tech savvy guy, so I could be doing something wrong that would be very obvious.
