AWAKEN

Finally found a replacement for the one deleted, although this vid is whacky . . .
the text states it is only 3:52 long and the first time I played it, that is all I got.
But when I pressed the PLAY button again, I got the full 19-plus minute version.
?????????

I feel this concert may have been the "Swan Song" of Yes' career as a Live band... you can't do much better
than this - - -
especially after doing it for 45 years!!!

I have followed them ever since I first heard "Roundabout" in 1972 on a tiny transistor radio -
And they changed my life forever.

Rick Wakeman plays a most beautiful and inspired solo in the middle section -

For many years, YES did not perform this song live . . .
I am not sure why. But here it is, in all of its glory.

The interplay between Wakeman and Howe near the end is just fantastic!

Always loved that song and the Fragile album in general. Alan White is a fine drummer but I think this suffers a little with the absence of Bruford.
